AutoCAD With Product Key [Updated] 📂
AutoCAD 23.1 [Updated]
AutoCAD is available as a standalone app, or as an extension of other Autodesk applications. It also integrates with other Autodesk software, such as Autodesk 3ds Max and Autodesk Maya.
The AutoCAD application was created by Autodesk co-founders Jay Mauskopf and David Steinberg. The founders originally focused on producing architectural CAD programs, but later wanted to create a desktop CAD application for use at home. In 1981, Steinberg called on Mauskopf to create such an application, and Mauskopf designed and produced the first version of AutoCAD, as a “personalized” version of the Acorn CAD program that he had designed and developed for his own use. Mauskopf then tried to interest Acorn in selling the program, but Acorn was initially uninterested. The company did, however, offer to rent the app to Mauskopf and Steinberg as a software demonstration. The product was a hit, and a $15,000 investment funded the second version of AutoCAD. By the time version 2.0 was released in April 1984, Autodesk had raised $1 million from investors. The product was renamed AutoCAD, and a Macintosh version was released in May 1984, with Windows and Apple II versions following in October.
The name Autodesk is an acronym for “Automatic Design System”. The word Autodesk was formed from the first three letters of the founders’ surnames (i.e. Mauskopf, Steinberg) and first three letters of their given names (i.e. Automatic) forming an acronym for “Automatic Design System”.
In 1984, Acorn joined the Autodesk family and became Autodesk AutoCAD’s primary development partner, adding support for the Apple II. Acorn also created a distributed development model for Windows users, and released a version called Acorn-STL for the Macintosh. In 1985, Autodesk AutoCAD was named a finalist in Computerworld’s award for best application for general work, and was one of three finalists for the 1986 Software Publishing awards, an honor usually reserved for the best overall applications.
After the introduction of Windows 3.0, AutoCAD added full 2D and 3D drafting functionality as well as 3D modeling and animation. The original source code for AutoCAD was written in

Macromodeling: AutoCAD’s macromodeling extension enables the user to edit a drawing’s geometry directly from a graphical user interface. The extension is developed by ARCI.
.DWG (Desktop),.DWF (Architecture) and.DGN (Draftsman) files are the native files of AutoCAD. Other file formats such as DXF and PDF can be opened and saved from AutoCAD. AutoCAD allows the user to edit and modify drawings in various ways, including the use of macros, keyboard shortcuts, and custom commands. The native file formats are preserved and stored as true vector graphics, without any loss of fidelity, making AutoCAD easily scalable to any rendering resolution.
With the release of AutoCAD 2017, the DXF and DWF formats are natively supported. Other file formats, including the native DWG and DGN formats, are imported from these file formats.
Vector output and raster output
Vector graphics, in contrast to the native file formats (which are vector drawings), use a defined set of points, lines, and arcs to define objects. These objects can be viewed, edited and transformed with the drawing software by the user in real-time. Any editing operation on the objects is immediately visible and available to other editing operations on the drawing, as the original vector objects are not affected by the editing operations. The type of operation does not need to be a direct editing of the point, line or arc structure of the vector object. For example, when extending the length of a line segment in the drawing, new points, lines, and arcs are not created.
The ability to edit vector graphics is one of the main reasons for the use of AutoCAD in the visualization and communication of engineering and architecture designs. Another reason is the ability to scale and transform vector graphics, such as from engineering to architectural drawing. A rendering into raster graphics is often a requirement for visualization, print and printing. For that purpose, AutoCAD also supports raster graphics. The native formats are preserved as it is in the native file formats. Vector graphics are often also rasterized by specialized applications, such as for printing on a printing device.
AutoCAD supports both DXF and DWG native file formats, and both formats can be rasterized. With the release of AutoCAD 2017, AutoCAD natively supports the DXF and DWG native file formats.

Under the partnership agreement, InBev will invest approximately $4 billion, including upfront cash of $400 million, and $20 million in working capital, for an approximate total investment of $4.4 billion.
The transaction is expected to be completed in late 2018 and to be accretive to InBev’s earnings per share in 2019 and 2020.
The companies will benefit from early economies of scale in technology, business and product innovation, and can expect complementary growth through the distribution of each other’s portfolio of brands.
DUNDEE, NOKIA, NORDSTROM, BLU, PREMIER SUPERMARKETS
Enrico Pieters, President of InBev, said: “We believe our new partnership with SABMiller will unlock significant strategic opportunities to make the world’s leading portfolio of beers more accessible for consumers around the world. Our teams and skillsets have been built with the ambition to create outstanding brands for consumers to enjoy and that we will deliver on through the partnership.”
Rebecca Turner, SABMiller’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “The proposed combination of InBev and SABMiller represents a highly attractive proposition for consumers, shareholders and colleagues alike. InBev’s brands and premium portfolio make it a natural and complementary partner for SABMiller’s broad portfolio of brands, giving us the opportunity to grow our respective brands at scale.”
Shareholders from both InBev and SABMiller will benefit from this deal. The transaction is subject to the required regulatory approvals and the approval of SABMiller’s shareholders, and is expected to close in the third quarter of 2018, subject to customary closing conditions.
In March 2017, SABMiller announced that, subject to regulatory approval and a number of conditions, it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a 35.6% interest in InBev’s US businesses for US$20.2 billion, and to acquire full control of the combined company.
SABMiller’s SAB Miller portfolio includes 11 brands that account for approximately 50% of global beer volumes, including Africa’s leading beer brand, Castle, and Fortune in USA and UK. SABMiller also has worldwide leading positions in Real and Fullers, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Grolsch, as well as in India’s No.1 beer brand, TETLEY.
InBev is the leading global brewer and leader in Latin America, and is committed

Advanced Features for AutoCAD®
Workflows are the foundation of AutoCAD. They are the way you complete a series of tasks in AutoCAD, whether to create or manipulate objects or manage your drawing session.
A workflow includes a series of steps, performed in the order you choose. Each step can have parameters that allow you to modify its behavior before, during, or after the task.
With the new Workflows Editor you can easily create and edit workflows. You can add, delete, modify, and reorder steps and parameters. You can also set up recurring steps to ensure that you complete tasks reliably and consistently. You can automate almost any task in your workflow to make it more efficient and reliable.
What’s new in AutoCAD 2023?
New tools and techniques for faster parametric modeling. Draw your models faster and get the results you need. Use the new “straight feature” that lets you draw using a straightedge, and keep lines parallel with zero gaps.
